When radio interoperability is required between Wildfire "Hot Shot" teams and EMS and Urban firefighters; when rapid deployment of a repeater in an urban area or in the mountains is needed, the new notebook-sized ICRI by Communications-Applied Technology is the solution. Operating from either internal, rechargeable batteries or "AA" alkaline, the 2.5 pound, backpack-able version of the ICRI has all the functionality of the multi-talk group ICRI that the USAF Force Protection Battlelab tested extensively and has now released their data as a major report.
